Temple Shalom is a reform congregation located in Aberdeen, New Jersey in Monmouth County.  For more than 40 years, we have been known for being a warm, welcoming and inclusive community.  Our Temple membership is comprised of individuals and families of all age groups.  We have a diverse range of programs to meet the different needs and interests of our Temple family.  These programs include a preschool, Hebrew school (from kindergarten to high school), active junior and senior youth groups, a vibrant Brotherhood and Sisterhood as well as a Renaissance group (empty nesters).

Membership at Temple Shalom affords you and your children a source of vital spiritual support and Jewish religious and cultural life.  Synagogue involvement fosters a greater understanding of Jewish life, as well as the opportunity to build wonderful new friendships. 

Our membership includes many Jews by choice and interfaith couples who wish to affiliate with the Jewish community.  The Non-Jewish members are able to play an active role within our congregation.  A separate brochure describing this participation is available by request.
