MONTHLY LETTER FROM BROTHERHOOD CHAIR

Brotherhood off to a busy start

Gary Enoch, Brotherhood President

Tan, rested and ready, Brotherhood has focused our refreshed sights on the 2008-2009 year.

Again we have an aggressive schedule which, as always, begins with High Holidays ushering, and the building of the courtyard Sukkah.

Brotherhood is also here to promote community, friendship and a positive Temple experience. This means we must find a way to include those who cannot afford the dues, a reality in today’s harsh economy. No problem. Anyone with a hardship can speak to us in confidence. For those fortunate and able to, please remember that dues are important.

They provide the means for us to support many Temple programs. Our calendar is on the Web site, in our display case and lobby info rack, so please use it to plan and join us often this coming year. Don’t forget to come to the Kick-Off Breakfast, cosponsored by Brotherhood. This annual event begins our year together and gives you an opportunity to meet a Brotherhood representative and pick up membership information. Qualified first year Temple members get free membership.

We hope you find our events engaging and interesting and look forward to seeing good friends again as well as some new faces. I wish you all a happy and healthy new year.

Contact  our Brotherhood President Gary Enoch or our Membership Chair, Sam Shapanka.
